In India, why it is said to be almost impossible to impeach a Judge ?

 Answer :

Judges of Supreme court can be removed from his office on the grounds of misbehaviour or incapacity. The procedure is laid down in the Judges Inquiry Act 1968. But it is said to be almost impossible to impeach a Judge because,It is difficult to get a large number of MP's to sign the impeachment motion unless there is absolute documentary evidence of the judges guilt, which in most cases is not possible unless some investigative agency has investigated the charges and collected the evidence impeachment requires two-third majority in Parliament.
